TYT consists of 4 sections with 120 questions in total. Every 4 wrong answers cancel out 1 correct answer. Blank questions do not affect the net score.
AYT consists of 11 sections with 160 questions in total. Relevant sections are counted based on the Quantitative, Equal Weight, or Verbal field. 4 wrong = 1 correct cancelled.
LGS consists of 90 questions. Since 2018, wrong answers no longer reduce the net score; only the number of correct answers counts.
The KPSS Bachelor's exam consists of 120 questions. Each of the General Ability and General Culture tests contains 60 questions. 4 wrong = 1 correct cancelled.
YDT (Foreign Language Test) consists of 80 questions. It can be taken in English, German, French, and other languages. 4 wrong answers cancel out 1 correct answer.

The estimated Quantitative score is calculated with the formula: SAY = TYT × 0.4 + (100 + Mathematics × 3.108 + Physics × 2.768 + Chemistry × 2.768 + Biology × 2.768) × 0.6 + GPA × 0.12. The actual ÖSYM score is determined by normalizing the results of all candidates, so the calculation in this tool is an estimate.
In the TYT, AYT, YDT, KPSS, and YDS exams, every 4 wrong answers cancel out 1 correct answer, which is why the net score can go below zero. LGS (since 2018) and some other exams do not apply negative marking; wrong answers do not reduce the net score.
The GPA Score (Secondary Education Achievement Score) is your diploma/grade average calculated out of 100. In YKS, the GPA score is added to your placement score with a coefficient of 0.12. A GPA score of 100 contributes +12 points to your score. Entering your GPA score in the tool gives you a more realistic score estimate.

The YDT (Foreign Language Test) score is calculated with the formula: YDT = 100 + Net × 3.0. In this 80-question exam, language skills can be entered section by section or as a single total. The 1-in-4 negative marking rule applies.
