📋 Terms of Use

1. Description of the Service

The On Eğitim Digital Education Platform is a digital education platform that enables students to take online private lessons from verified teachers, solve exams, and follow programs. By registering on the Platform, you are deemed to have accepted these terms.

2. Registration and Account

To register on the Platform, you must be 18 years of age or older, or have the consent of a legal guardian. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account information. You must report any suspicious account activity immediately.

3. Private Lesson Packages and Purchases

3.1 Purchasing a Package: Students earn lesson balance (hours/credits) by purchasing packages determined by the teacher.

3.2 Lesson Reservation: Students with lesson balance can book available time slots.

3.3 Cancellation and Refund Policy:

• Lesson credit is refunded for cancellations made more than 12 hours before the lesson time.
• No credit refund is given for cancellations made less than 12 hours before the lesson time.
• No cash refunds are given for purchased packages; the amount is added to your balance as credit.
• In cases of disruption caused by the teacher (e.g. no lesson taking place for 14 days), a cash refund may be requested via destek@onegitim.tv.

4. Teacher Obligations

Teachers are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide on the Platform, attending their appointments on time, and complying with appropriate conduct rules. Completing the interview and approval process is mandatory.

5. Commission and Earnings

The Platform takes a certain commission rate from teacher earnings. The current commission rate can be viewed in the teacher's account settings. The Platform reserves the right to change the commission rate with prior notice.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Impersonating another person
• Making payment arrangements outside the Platform
• Sharing inappropriate, disturbing, or unlawful content
• Actions that threaten the security or infrastructure of the Platform

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform (logo, design, exam questions, materials) belongs to On Eğitim TV; it may not be copied, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without permission.

8. Service Interruption and Limitation of Liability

The Platform may become temporarily inaccessible due to technical maintenance, updates, or force majeure. On Eğitim TV bears no liability for compensation in such cases.

9. Modification of Terms

On Eğitim TV reserves the right to update the terms of use, notifying users 30 days in advance for major changes. The current terms are always published on this page.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by Turkish law. The Courts and Enforcement Offices of Kayseri, Turkey have jurisdiction over any disputes.
